I’m Baaack! Vegas Wineaux’s Back in the House!

It’s been quite an adventure as I’ve been recuperating from the surgery that I underwent last week. Honestly, it was more (a lot more) than just a simple “procedure,” but my recovery has been relatively uneventful. I had what initially appeared to be a major setback on Saturday, but it looks as if that will be less serious than it appeared at the time.
Thanks to everyone who emailed me with their thoughts and concerns, and rest assured that I’m back at the keyboard. I’m restricted to bedrest and will be homebound for the greater part of the next month, but fear not! I’m still making sure that I’m reporting what’s going on out there in the world of wine! I can’t help myself.
During the course of the next couple of weeks, I will be sharing quite a few new articles with you. I will also be updating you on the Wineries of Mexico cruises, including information about some of those wineries and the upcoming receptions and Meet ‘N Greets. Believe me, these wineries are world class, and we’re in for a real treat!
I will be sharing some recipes, a recent visit to a new local restaurant, some tasting notes, a throwdown, and, of course, lots of local wine stuff!! Even when I’m laid up, the wine gears continue to grind, and there’s always stuff to share. I just have some catching up to do.
And for those of you who were wondering, yes, there was magic involved in my postings over the last week. Thanks to modern technology, the postings continued both during and immediately after my surgery. The new reports will be “live” from now on!
So stay tuned! And thanks again. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers - more than you know - as I continue to convalesce.
