Spring BBQ Wine Bash By the Pool

Even though I missed the wonderful and fun UNLVino event this year – I was already ill and “real life” had kicked into high gear – I made up for it last weekend by attending a couple of fun wine club events.

The first event was not really a tasting, but a party. My friends Donna and Fulton had their semi-annual Wine and BBQ by the pool, and invited some of their friends over for a Saturday evening of wine, fun, BBQ, and socializing. I arrived ready to have a great time and sip a little vino.

There’s not too much to say about it other than I had a fabulous time as always, and because it was the first wine I had had in a week, I was not too hard-pressed to keep it toned down. But I did, and didn’t do my body any damage! As always, I took pictures and wanted to share the slide show with you. Enjoy!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot – I brought a 2004 Opolo Mountain Zin. I actually got to taste some!
